The following terms and conditions have been put into place during the Government ordered lockdown.
These are temporary measures to enable our business to operate in a legal and safe manner which are regularly reviewed and updated.
Orders for same day delivery and click and collect can be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through the website.
Click and collect orders can be placed via the website or by phone from both stores and can be specified for collection from either store
Telephone orders can be placed from 10am until 4pm Monday to Sunday by calling 02476 640856 for Bedworth and 01530 564081 for Ashby
Both our stores are currently under National Lockdown Restrictions (as of 5th of January 2021). This means our Ashby-de-la-Zouch store is now closed to the public. However, you can order through our website or over the telephone (details below) and have your goods delivered same day; 7 days a week.
Our Bedworth store is open for Click & Collect ONLY. This means you MUST pre-order through our website or over the telephone before coming to the store. Under National Lockdown Restrictions we are NOT ALLOWED to serve you at the door. We also offer local same day delivery which can be ordered through our website or over the telephone. Our Bedworth store is open 7 days a week 10am – 4pm with deliveries available every day.
ALL GOODS MUST BE PREORDERED.
We offer a Click & Collect service at our Bedworth store. Click & Collect is NOT available in Ashby-de-la-Zouch under National Lockdown Restrictions.
To order for collection simply add the items you wish to order to your basket and head to the checkout page. To ensure the right delivery options are available to you, you may have to click the calculate shipping button and enter your shipping details first.
Select the Click & Collect Bedworth option and pay for your order.
Collections are only available from our Bedworth store, 7 days a week 10:30am – 4pm and you must wait until you have received an email confirmation that your order is ready to collect.
Once you have received your email you may come to the store with your ID to collect your order.
If you wish to have your order delivered same day then please select the £1 Local Delivery option, please note this option is only available to certain postcodes and there is a minimum spend of £10. Deliveries are available 7 days a week.
To check if you are in an eligible area enter your shipping address at the checkout stage.

Deliveries are available Monday to Friday and you can place your order any time before 2pm. If you place an order after 2pm your order will be delivered the following day. Local area deliveries are just £1 with a minimum spend of £10 however if you spend over £30 you will have a Free Local Delivery option.
YOU MUST BE IN TO RECEIVE YOUR DELIVERY. If your order fits through the letterbox we will post it straight through. However if your order is too big for your letterbox (120ml bottles will not fit through a standard letterbox) we will leave your order on your doorstep and call you.
If you do not answer your phone your order will NOT BE DELIVERED. You will need to call us the next working day to rearrange delivery.
Deliveries will be made any time between 10am and 9pm.
Please note: We DO NOT offer same day delivery on Bank Holidays or days when the stores are closed (Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Day)

THE FOLLOWING PROTOCOL MUST BE OBSERVED DURING DELIVERY
The address must be occupied to receive the delivery
You must not under any circumstances answer your door to receive your parcel
Any adjacent or surrounding windows must be closed
Your parcel will be left at your doorstep or posted through your letterbox where possible
The driver will return to the vehicle
Once the driver is back in the vehicle, you must retrieve your parcel
If you do not answer, you will lose your slot and your parcel will be returned to warehouse and subsequent delivery will have to be paid for again and dispatched on the next working day
If you answer the door to our delivery driver or do not adhere to these protocols unfortunately we will not deliver to that address again as part of the contact free local service. Postage will have to be paid and orders will be sent out via Royal Mail or collected from the store. This is to protect you and us. Please help us by following our delivery protocol.
CONTACT FREE LOCAL DELIVERIES
- IMPORTANT – THOSE LIVING IN FLATS OR DWELLINGS WITH SHARED ACCESS OR DOORWAYS If you live in an apartment, flat or maisonette. We will only deliver to an outside door or location. Under no circumstances will we deliver through shared hallways or entrances.
- If you find you have ordered or received the wrong item.
- You can return it in person or by post to our Bedworth Store for exchange or refund.
- You must enclose the sales receipt or a clear photocopy of the receipt.
- You can call us to arrange for the items to be collected. There is a collection charge of £7.95 for this service which must be paid at the time of booking the collection. Please note that delivery and collection charges for this service are non refundable.

THE DELIVERY DRIVER WILL INSTRUCT YOU ON OUR EXACT REQUIREMENTS IF AND WHEN THEY CALL
These protocols are constantly reviewed and you will be re-advised on the method and our requirements of you at the time of ordering or by the delivery driver shortly before delivery takes place. You MUST give us a current telephone number where we can contact you in the moments before delivery. We will only call you twice. If you do not answer, you will lose your delivery slot and your order will be returned to base to await re-booking of delivery. You must call to re-book your delivery. If you miss your delivery slot, delivery has to be paid for again. This service is not nationwide and is postcode dependant. If you order before 2pm, your order will be delivered on the same day Monday to Friday. If you order after 2pm your order will be delivered the next working day. £1 local deliveries are available 7 days a week during Government ordered lockdowns. Please abide by delivery protocols.

Premium delivery service costs £4:99 and is only available by phone order. Here you can choose a timed delivery slot between 10:30am and 7pm Monday to Saturday. Please observe the delivery protocols. Royal Mail is per their services (at this time we strongly recommend you to select a recorded or signed for option, we will not chase non deliveries by Royal Mail standard services until their specified times have elapsed. This is a minimum 7 days and any claims are with Royal Mail and not Big Slims Vapour Co.
Deliveries to Destinations outside of our local delivery service will be posted on the day of ordering if ordered by 2pm Monday to Friday via Royal Mail

Royal Mail’s Recorded Signed For is sent 1st class and sent within 1 working day.
Royal Mail’s Special Delivery is sent same day if ordered before 14:00hrs.
Royal Mail Special Delivery Next Day which provides a much more reliable service as well as insurance up to £500. By selecting this option, you ARE NOT purchasing a warranty that your package will arrive the day after you placed your order, you are upgrading the shipping method to the Royal Mail UK Special Delivery Next Day Service which will be delivered by 1pm the working day after despatch.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail’s International Signed For Airmail Service.
We are not responsible for packages delayed or confiscated by your internal customs authorities and we are unable to answer any shipping queries by telephone. If you wish to contact us about non-delivery, we ask that you please wait until the usual delivery time period has elapsed, as we won’t be able to assist until this time period has passed.
You will receive email confirmation once your order has been dispatched and the Royal Mail reference will be received in a separate email. Please ensure you check your spam filtered emails before contacting us to ask for the tracking reference.

For operational manufacturing reasons. It may, from time to time be necessary to send an alternatively branded product from the one(s) ordered. Be reassured that the product you will receive is the same as the one ordered and only the packaging / branding may differ.
Charging your e–cigarette
All e–cigarettes must be charged in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Products returned as faulty but found to have been incorrectly charged will be deemed as warranty void and result in total loss to you the customer. Please refer to the manual of the product you have purchased before charging and make sure you know and carry out the charging process as per the instruction manual.

1. Introduction – If you participate in our 12 days to Christmas give away. It is important that you read these terms and conditions. We will not be held responsible for any disappointment or confusion from not reading and understanding them.
1.1 These rules apply to Big Slims 12 days to Christmas giveaway. Promoted on and run through our Facebook social media channel.
1.2 To enter a competition you must enter as directed on our website or social media channels.
1.3 Our competitions are free to enter (no purchase required, unless otherwise stated).

2. Eligibility and entry restrictions.
2.1 To be eligible to enter our giveaway competition:
(a) Entrants must be a real person, must be over 18 years old and permanently reside in the United Kingdom. Big Slims Vapour Co Ltd operate and endorse Challenge 25. Proof of address and age will be required to collect any prize won.
(b) Entrants must not be our employee, officer or agent, or an employee, officer or agent of any person or organisation involved in the running of the competition, and you must not be a family relation of any such person.
(c) Competition entrants for our 12 days to Christmas give away on social media must have a genuine Facebook account and must ‘like’ the Big Slims.co.uk Facebook social network page as part of the entry process.
2.2 Entrants may participate unlimited times but prizes are limited to one per account holder.
3. Start and closing dates. The start date of the promotion is Sunday the 13th of December 2020 and the close date is Thursday the 24th December 2020
3.1 A competition shall open for entries at the time and on the date specified on our website and/or social media channels, and similarly, shall close to entries at the time and on the date specified on our website and social media channels. Unless otherwise stated, these times and dates are set to those for GMT. (Greenwich mean time)
3.2 Any entries received before the opening or after the closing of the competition will be invalid and will not be entered into the competition.
3.3 No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
3.4 Winners are selected by the first correct answer received.
3.5 We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by us.
3.6 Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of all of these terms and conditions.
4.1 Competition entries shall be judged or winners selected on the basis of those criteria specified on our website and/or social media channels in relation to the competition.
4.2 If a competition entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements or is subject to any entry restrictions, that entrant shall not be entitled to be adjudged a winner, and will not be entitled to a prize in any circumstances.
4.5 Our decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
4.6 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
5. Winners and prizes
5.1 Competition prizes for each competition shall be specified during our live give away on our Facebook social media channel.
5.2 Competition prize winners will be notified immediately on the live broadcast. No further attempts will be made to contact prize winners.
5.3 Prizes must be collected before close of business (3pm) on the 31st of December 2020. Prizes will be available to collect from either store in Ashby De La Zouch or Bedworth. Your preferred collection point must be specified at the point of winning during the live stream. Any prizes not collected by the 31st of December will be withdrawn and donated to our chosen charity.
5.4 No cash alternative to the prizes will be offered. The prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
8.1 We may undertake publicity activities relating to competitions and prize awards. The winner therefore agrees to the use of their name, photograph and disclosure of town or region of residence in any post-prize-winning publicity.
